Working & Volunteering at our ranch

For 2010,  we have no job openings at the Ponderosa. We do not have any employees beyond our family and have no plans to hire any for the 2010 season. If we decide to hire any employees for future years, we will hire individuals who have previously been guests at our ranch or volunteered at our ranch. If you are interested in working at our ranch in future years, and staying as a paying guest is not an option, please contact us regarding volunteering at our ranch. When we decide to hire an employee, preference will be given to those persons demonstrating enthusiasm and experience in cooking.   We also have various maintenance projects that could be part of a volunteer situation, in trade for room and board or horseback riding. For 2010, we currently have our volunteer needs met thru the middle of July. We will be looking for someone to stay  mid July to mid October.
